I happened to notice today that there was a Mustang car show going on at Gary Crosley Ford in Liberty, MO. After going home and grabbing my camera I got there towards the end but was still able to see and take photos of some nice looking Mustangs as well as other cars. Using one of the photos I took of a Mustang GT I then created this poster with the Mustang superimposed over a photo of a blue moon and then added some reflection to finish it out.

Last Friday evening I happened to stop by with my nephew to check out the cars at a local "Friday Night Cruise" in Overland Park, Kansas. While taking photos had not been on my agenda that day....as normal I had my camera with me just in case...and I am glad I did!
As we were looking at some really nice classic cars and trucks my nephew called my attention to the reflection of the Kansas sunset in the paint on a 1960's era Malibu SS. I was able to capture the photo shown here as the result of his sharp eyes.
It was a fitting end to a great afternoon of spending time with family, eating some great BBQ and getting to photograph some classic cars.

Yesterday I had the chance to go to the 2012 Memorial Day Air Show in Columbia, Missouri. It was a great time and perfect weather and lighting for capturing some amazing photos of a variety of aircraft.
The show featured a aircraft from many generations. The day began with the "Dawn Patrol" a group that flies WWI type reproduction airplanes and ended with an unbelievable demonstration of the F-18 Hornet fighter jet. While all the flying demonstrations were great the F-18 Hornet was amazing as the pilot pushed it to its limits and amazed the audience with what the aircraft could do.
I have started posting some photos from the Airshow in my Transportation gallery and will be adding more over the next few days.
